It is an oleosome-based emulsifier for sun protection, which facilitates the development of state-of-the-art cold process creams and lotions. Oleosomes are organelles from safflower seeds, 100% natural, containing oleosin proteins, components that nourish the skin.
While providing the benefit of nourishing, are able to significantly reduce the amount of organic filters needed to obtain stable formulas with high SPF.
A new technology in sun protection
Thanks to natural technology, CapSol™ can carry UVA and UVB filters within the triglyceride core and on the outside of the oleosomal sphere.
Microscopic tests of sunscreen with oleosomes show that the organelle retains UV filters firmly on the surface and in small oil droplets in the emulsion.
This process enables high FPS in formulas with up to 80% fewer organic UV filters than conventional commercial products. Additionally, eliminates the use of physical or water-soluble filters. That way, it is possible to reduce the cost of formulation.
Another benefit is that it does not permeate the layers of the skin, providing better safety and efficacy of the product.
