Check out the innovations we presented at FCE 2024!

The trend MindGlow has gained prominence by emphasizing the connection between the mind, skin and hair. The aim is to combine mental and physical well-being to improve health and appearance. Such popularity is due to increasing global stress, anxiety and concerns about the economy and climate change.

For this reason, consumers are seeking more evolved self-care methods. I.e, alternatives that include stress relief techniques, healing practices, targeted supplements and a revised daily routine to promote health integral and increase the routines of beauty.

Innovations in raw materials

Barentz presented several solutions at FCE 2024, serving a broad audience with innovations in raw materials.

Among the innovations for the hair coloring and treatment market, we present:

  • Textures and active ingredients with surfactants from Stepan®
  • Multifunctional polymers from SNF®
  • Xinyu® Dyes
  • And the innovative Polycare Split Therapy® definitive treatment active ingredient from Syensqo®.

Additionally, we highlight the neuroactive TiMood® by Mibelle®, which proved the connection brain-skin. In that regard, one of the biggest highlights was Capsol® from Sharon®, an emulsifier 100% natural developed for the sun protection market, capable of reducing more than 50% of the UV filters used in the formulations.

This product not only demonstrated efficacy and innovation in the formulation of sunscreens, but was also recognized by the public, through the Innovation Challenge competition. The novelty received the award for most innovative asset by popular vote.

News in nutrition

For the Pharma market & Nutritious, Barentz offered products such as Serenity Drink, a liquid food supplement with pineapple and mint flavor. Formulated with Affron® from Pharmactive and Gabarelax™ from Bloomage, which modulate serotonin and act on the central nervous system to combat anxiety and improve sleep quality.

A Menopause Vitality Bar, aimed at women facing the challenges of menopause, contained Veri-te™ by Evolva and Creavitalis® by Alzchem, antioxidants and creatine that helps cardiovascular health, combating sarcopenia and muscle recovery.

Already the JointRevive Fizz, a carbonated blueberry-flavored supplement, enriched with Haplex® Plus from Bloomage and FORTIGEL® from Gelita, strengthens joints and improving skin health.

Among other innovative products, Barentz also presented the BeautyBite, a bar of white chocolate with TetraSOD® from Fitoplancton Marino and OptiMSM® from Balchem. The product strengthens immunity and promotes skin health, hair and nails, while improving muscle recovery.

Barentz offers innovative formulations that not only meet specific health needs, but also provide pleasant flavors and balanced taste experiences.

In summary, These prototypes highlighted the adaptation to self care e well-being, offering consumers advanced solutions that promote physical and mental health in an integrated manner.
